Based in Co.Antrim Northern Ireland, SilicaBox was started in 2010 by designer Stephen Reid while in his final year of University. As a collaborative studio, we expand to fit your projects. Stephen takes on the bulk of the projects but in cases where extra hands and expertise are required we draw from our group of skilled associates.
We have associates who are designers, developers, photographers, animators and artists. So we have a fantastic pool of talent to draw from to get your project off the ground.
While we spend most of our time creating fantastic websites, we have also worked on branding (logos, colour), print (business cards, flyers, booklets, clothing labels), mobile apps, video, photography and interactive touch-screen systems
We believe in working with you to see your project to completion, respecting the fact that no ones knows your business like you. At the same time, we take great pride in our work and view every project as a chance to do something great.

Stephen has been designing and working with clients since before he could grow a beard. He is a skilled web-designer and front-end developer. He is also a dab hand at implementing Content Management Systems, Print Design and Photography.
On occasion Stephen has been known to dabble in video, animation and mobile app development.
Prior to setting up SilicaBox he worked at one of Northern Ireland's most respected studios, Frank Design & Communications (www.frankideaworks.com), where he was known as "The Web Department".
